Jeremy Silcox

MSW, LICSW

Jeremy and his family relocated to the Mad River Valley from Jackson, WY in 2024 and officially joined Hannah’s House in January 2025. He is originally from Shelburne, VT and grew up skiing, playing soccer, and exploring the world during his early days in the Green Mountains.

While in Wyoming, he worked for over 30 years as a youth counselor and Licensed Clinical Social Worker for a non-profit organization that provides a wide range of services to families and children. His skillset was honed over years supporting a diverse cross-section of mental health needs, including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, substance issues, trauma and ADHD. Strongly rooted in a humanistic, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach, Jeremy believes in the healing power of relationships and that unconditional positive regard increases trust. His approach to therapy is informed by cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, collaborative problem solving, adventure therapy, and structural family therapy.

Jeremy’s greatest joys come from sharing in the wonders of life with his children. He also fills his cup by staying active outdoors: skiing, biking, hiking, and camping with friends and family. He loves to cook, tend his garden, practice tai chi, stargaze, and follow the ups and downs of his favorite team, Liverpool Football Club.
