Hannah’s House is collaborating with The Kahm Center for Eating Disorders to offer a free informational evening to the HUUSD community around healthy body image, effects of social media, diet culture and spotting potential signs of eating disorders.

WHERE: Crossett Brook Middle School, Waitsfield
This is open to parents, caregivers, staff, coaches, tween/teen students.
- Learn what diet culture is and uncover some of the sneaky places it shows up in your life.
- Unpack the connection betewen diet culture, body image, and eating disorders
- Discuss eating disorders, how to spot their signs, and what to do if someone needs support
- Dissect the role that social media plays in perpetuating negative body image
- Uncover what a healthy relationship with food and body may look like
- Leave with tips to spot diet culture, boost body image, and build resilience against disordered eating
