DESCRIPTION:Student Input Needed!\nDATE: Sep 23\, 2025\nTIME: 2:40 – 3:30 PM\nWHERE: Harwood Union Middle and High School\, 458 Vermont Route 100\, Moretown\, VT (map) \nImagine a cafe-style place for high school students to go after school where they could enjoy (free) food and beverages in the company of other peers and just hang out\, work on academics or take part in optional program offerings.\nHannah’s House and The Bigger Picture Community Fund has been developing a pilot project which will encompass this vision for our Harwood High School students this fall. \nThis student-led\, adult-guided effort requires student input to be successful. If you have a Harwood High School student (grades 9-12) who *may* be interested in utilizing such a space\, please encourage them to connect with Jen Dreimiller to sign up for ELO2 on Tuesday\, September 23rd at 2:40pm. Students attending this “focus group” will have the opportunity to provide input which will likely be incorporated into the pilot project. Snacks will be provided during this ELO2 meeting. \nMRV restaurants/grocers:\nIf you would consider providing hearty snacks/drinks at a bargain price for even one after school cafe day\, email Chrissy Rivers: chrissy@hannahshousevt.org or call 802-496-9715. \nIf this 8-week pilot is successful\, it would be our goal to continue this with the community’s support.
